Ebay it seems that you are trying to list an item for the 2017 mcdonald’s monopoly promotion11/13/2022 ![]() It`s either that now or only get the 20 free listings per month option which I started out with many years ago. Ensures small to medium private sellers get the boot whilst eBay pushes ever forward into purely business seller website territory. ![]() Only other option is to pay their ridiculous listing fees on every single item in future. It is now a requirement of free listings for a great many private sellers. Sometimes a well deserved full force verbal onslaught can be enough to make them stop doing whatever it is that they shouldn't be doing!ĮBay seemingly have an agenda to follow as mine and many others 100 free listings per day have been suddenly cancelled without notification after we have had the `promotion` as they call it for years and if you want to relist now the only option is to accept the `Make Offer` option and `Good `Til Cancelled` option. ![]() In some ways eBay is a bit like a naughty child whose bad behaviour is repeatedly going unchecked - they know their behaviour is going to annoy people, but they still keep on doing it regardless until things eventually get to the point where the people being affected snap and either say or do something that makes them wish they hadn't done it in the first place! Therefore, just treat eBay like a badly behaved kid - if they start overstepping the mark again contact Customer Services and make it clear to them that they've gone too far and that you don't want a repeat of that kind of behaviour again. If you do then contact eBay Customer Services and tell them that unless they stop tampering with your listings you'll be pulling the ads and selling the items on a different website. ![]() If you do decide to use the Advanced Listing Form then you can manually override the Best Offer function by unticking it if it's selected, in which case you should not get Best Offers appearing on your listings against your wishes. If you list your items using the Advanced Listing Form then you shouldn't experience the problem of eBay overstepping the mark and trying to dictate whether or not you include Best Offers on your listings. ![]()

Animecast: Fall 2018 Anime Season Preview ![]() ![]() It is true that Grace answered the direct question of a student (Hayley Orrantia) about the religious figure and quoted his words while engaged in a discussion about passive resistance. Grace Wesley (Melissa Joan Hart) is a high school teacher facing legal action because she mentioned Jesus and The Bible during a history lesson. Yet in this fictional movie, that is the exact predicament the main character finds herself. It really isn’t the sort of situation one would expect to face in a court of law, especially in a country that professes to champion freedom of religion and freedom of speech. Pure Flix has learned from Marvel, and a post-credits stinger tees up God’s Not Dead 3, whether we’ve prayed for it or not.“If you were on trial for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?” That’s the sort of question that gets asked in a Sunday School class to motivate participants to reflect upon their personal expressions of faith. The trial scenes go on forever, but despite the two-hour run time, it’s worth staying to the very end. Instead of a lengthy cameo from a member of the Duck Dynasty clan there is a brief talking-head moment from Mike Huckabee, and the most urgent speechifying here can’t hold a candle to anything in last summer’s surprise hit War Room in terms of church kitsch. It is unfortunately just professional enough that there are only brief instances of transcendent badness, rather than drawn-out sequences. For those looking to howl at wretched acting like in Kevin Sorbo’s death scene in the last one, alas, the sequel is a bit of a disappointment. (Also, keep your ears open for plugs of Man Myth Messiah, the latest book by Rice Broocks, Pure Flix’s inhouse scribe.)įor those looking to get riled up about how evil trends such as diversity are preventing people from believing in Jesus, there’s more than enough red meat in God’s Not Dead 2. There are a number of witness-stand showdowns, such as with the daughter of the atheist parents leading the suit (who has since found Jesus – whoopsie!), and with the scholars who cite theories such as the “unintended eyewitness support system” to “prove” that Jesus’s words were true. Ray Wise practically has a serpent’s tongue as the sleazy American Civil Liberties Union lawyer who wants to destroy this nice, blonde, cardigan-wearing teacher who lives with her ill father (Pat Boone!) and just wants to serve God. Instead, it’s like Roman times: there is a war over belief, and it is going to take sacrifice to win it.īut much like the script of God’s Not Dead 2, we’re letting tangents distract us from the primary story: the trial. This is a reference to a one-off, highly localised subpoena in a 2014 investigation into tax-exempt institutions violating civil rights, that was quickly rescinded. Dave and other local preachers are forced to turn in copies of their recent sermons to the authorities, “just like in Houston”. Pastor Dave is calm, welcoming and warm, which is why it’s a bit surprising when God’s Not Dead 2 gets so belligerent in the face of perceived persecution. ![]() (No mention is given to the advances of medical science.) The other big connection to the first God’s Not Dead is that one of the jurors is the earlier film’s Pastor Dave (played by Pure Flix’s co-founder David AR White), whose scruffy blonde hair and worldly luck have just enough of that Jesus-is-just-alright-with-me vibe to make him extremely likable. ![]() She is not just any reporter – she is the liberal blogger from the first God’s Not Dead, Amy (Trisha LaFache), who had advanced cancer but, after meeting the Newsboys, accepted Jesus and is now cured. But what is really on trial here? It’s an obvious question, but in case you don’t ask it, you’ll be prompted by a reporter seated in the courtroom who whips out her notebook and writes “What’s really on trial here?” in big letters. ![]() Soon (ridiculously soon, if you know how the legal system works, but let’s not get into that) Grace Wesley is on trial. ”, but in the paranoid world of Harold Cronk’s film, it’s enough to open up the fires of damnation. Wesley specifically says “the author of the Gospels attributes Jesus as saying. No reasonable person would ever accuse her of proselytising, but a conversation in her history class on the nonviolence of Gandhi and Dr Martin Luther King also touches upon the teachings of Christ. ![]() Though the main characters are different, a few of the side players have returned, and once again the big villain is academia – in this case a high school where Grace Wesley (Melissa Joan Hart), a very nice teacher and woman of faith, accidentally trips up and quotes scripture to her students. God’s Not Dead 2 is a much better movie than God’s Not Dead, but that’s a bit like saying a glass of milk left on the table hasn’t curdled and is merely sour. ![]() ![]() ![]() Students also demonstrate the ability to operate a survival craft engine, manage survivors and survival craft after abandoning ship and use locating devices including communication and signaling apparatuses. ![]() ![]() But don't sleep on Hawk: The 6-3 SG out of Bradley averaged 19.0 points per game as a Sixer (while shooting nearly 41 percent from deep), and was named to the 1991 Eastern Conference All-Star team. This one is a bit of a head scratcher, primarily because Hersey Hawkins only played in Philadelphia for five seasons (and mostly for mediocre teams). Add in the fact that he was (and remains) one of the league's better wing defenders, and it's not hard to see how he made the cut. On the franchise's all-time leaderboard, Iguodala is third in three-pointers (563), fourth in steals (1,076), sixth in assists (2,991) and ninth in points (9,422). This might seem a bit odd at first glance, but Andre Iguodala has a pretty solid case for a place on this list. So there's that.Ģk finally has an edition with Wilt on the Sixers and they still manage to show disrespect, among other issues with this list: /6nRtSHWLVe- Scott Kessler August 24, 2017 That said, the "Big Dipper" collected three MVPs and led the Sixers to the 1967 NBA championship during those 3.5 seasons. As a 6-6 small forward, Cunningham averaged 20/10/4 during his nine seasons in Philadelphia, and was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team in 1996.Ĭhamberlain only played for the Philadelphia 76ers for three and a half seasons (1965-68) - his first stint in the city as a professional came as a member of the Philadelphia Warriors. The "Kangaroo Kid" was selected by the 76ers in the first round of the 1965 NBA Draft and was an integral part of the franchise during the late 1960s / early 1970s (save for a brief two-year run with the Carolina Cougars of the ABA). Power Forward: Billy Cunningham (91 Rating) Sadly, Erving spent the early part of his prime years in the ABA, but he still blessed us with a lifetime's worth of incredible memories. J was a perennial All-Star during his 11-year run with the 76ers, and he ended his career in the top-5 of virtually every offensive category in Sixers' franchise history. Greer probably doesn't get enough respect from the younger generation of Sixers' fans, but the 6-2 shooting guard was undoubtedly one of the NBA's best perimeter players during the 1960s.ĭuring his 15-year career with the Sixers/Syracuse Nationals, Greer - who was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1982 - made seven All-NBA teams and was selected to 10 consecutive All-Star games.ĭr. you could argue that Iverson was technically a shooting guard, opening up the PG spot for someone else, but any all-time starting lineup of Philadelphia 76ers without Iverson would be flat-out wrong. ![]() This selection doesn't need much explanation (or defending, for that matter). As expected, there were a few surprises when it came to the Sixers' list: Our very own Kyle Neubeck took a stab at predicting what the Philadelphia 76ers' starting lineup would look like, and his list (unlike most on the Internet) was pretty spot-on.ĢK Games ended the conjecture and speculation earlier today by revealing the rosters for the 30 all-time teams. Nearly two weeks ago, the fine folks at 2K Games announced that NBA 2K18 would feature all-time teams for each of the league's 30 franchises. ![]() |
